Outlook rules wizard

#1 Post by joester » Fri Apr 11, 2008 8:49 pm

Anyone know how to write a rule?
I see all sorts of options for creating one, but not the one I want.

Specifically, I want to check the subject line for misspelled or unrecognized words when compared to the spell checker.

Two or more typos, and it's history.

I figure about 80-85% of my junk mail would dissappear with that one rule.

I just ran through the outlook rule wizard - I have 2007. The only thing I can come up with is try to add a rule for the most commonly misspelled words.

Is this a work email where you get email from known domains?
Past: T60 , XPS M1330, Inspiron 1420 & 1520, Presario V2010US
Present: T61 , Acer D150, T61 7663 (Parents)
Screen swapped between the 7661 and 7663

I found I was better off with something like spamassassin or similar adaptive junk filters.

No way to in Outlook 2003 from what I know of it. You're better off with a whitelist solution on the server.

Besides, I gets regular spam bouncing off my public addresses with every word spelled correctly.
