will Vista's "Aero" run on my T60?

Not sure if the video supports Aero on the T60. I notice that it isn't a selection in the Personalization drop down. Maybe I opted it out or something. Rather than re-load the whole OS just to see, thought I would ask here...

3 gig of ram on board.

I think any video adapter that comes in a T60 (either integrated or discrete) should support Aero...it's really not that demanding; I know it ran just fine on my X60 Tablet with Intel 945 video. Do you have the appropriate video driver installed?

I solved my own problem/question by reverting to the default services configuration. That seemed to enable Aero and it was then back in the menu selection. So now I am a happy Aero dude, which got rid of the double ugly black toolbar, which was the whole point of the exercise. Plus, my new external monitor seems to look very much better with Vista/Aero vs. XP classic.
