x61s recovery set created with no OS?

#1 Post by johnp126 » Mon May 19, 2008 5:34 am

i had a x61s and i built a recovery set from it. it created the boot disk on cd and 2 dvd recovery disks, when i had to restore it i followed the normal process but this time it asked for a "OS disk" first. I put in the first recovery disk but it told me that was wrong. i had to say i did not have the disk and then continued but it has a big red X next to OS. Has something changed? anyone have a x61s with 64 preload to check? confused.
