Problems with IBM Update Connector

Hi ...

... i have problems with my IBM Update Connector on my T41 (2373-1FG).
I have installed version 6.1 today but everytime when i try to search for software i get an error like "could not find/collect information about current system, call ibm hotline" (translated from german)

Do somebody know this problem and maybe a solution?

Can't help with your problem directly, but a good number of people here tend to not use Update Connector, or at least from what I can tell.

Like most, I manually download new driver/software updates for my specific model and type. Try going here:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-46258

Seems to be easier for most people and this way you don't have something working away in the background chewing up resources on your computer.
