A21m won't install NIC

I am trying to reinstall Windows 2000 on this A21m but everytime I go to install the NID driver it just freezes. It then blue screens from trying to load the NIC driver during bootup. I tried to install WIndows XP but that install hangs during the driver install and I bet it is getting hung on the NIC driver. What can I do?
