IE8 Beta

#1 Post by NorrisCell » Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:52 am

The beta for Internet Explorer 8 was recently released. I installed it, and some of the features are interesting.

There is a dynamic linking function that processes information contained in the pages you visit. It also has an advanced history/autocomplete for webpages that combines predictive search results with your actual web history.

While those features are amusing, there's not much else to report on it yet.

Anyone else tried it?

Maybe it's just me, or a configuration issue, but everytime I start up and open IE8 it reports that the server was not found and would I like to retry or work offline.

Other than that, it seems OK for me.

Yes, seems ok and smooth scrolling works.

But have got some hick-ups, that Firefox don´t have.

IE8 and Passwod Manager

#6 Post by Mainframer » Thu Oct 16, 2008 11:20 am

Does anyone know if the ThinkVantage Password Manager works with IE8? I'm running v2.0.0 of the Password Manager and XP SP3.

Thanks.
