Change partition recovery on HDD in Lenovo service?

I have ThinkPad with Windows XP Pro (French) and i want to change to other language system (ex. Win XP Pro PL). In my country (Poland) i can`t buy recover CD (Lenovo not selling!) so i "hear" from somebody it is posibility to change recovery partition on HDD (for $) but i can`t get no informatnion from Polish Lenovo technical information (nobody pickup the phone or is still occupied). Can you tell mi it is possibility to"change"?
