my T43 can't boot windows cd

hi,

i replace my T43 hdd and want to do clean install
i want to install windows XP but seems my t43 can't boot from the CD. it always give "Operating System not found" or something like that

the windows cd is fine (i checked on my PC), and i can boot to ubuntu livecd on my T43..

strange, even my t43 can't boot vista dvd...

T43 can't boot bootable windows xp cd and can't boot windows vista dvd, BUT can boot ubuntu live cd (so i guess the dvd-rom still ok)

any idea how do i solve this?

the problem is fixed.
seems the laptop dvd rom is dying.. strange, same cd brand, same burner, but can read only one of them.

i plug ide-usd dvd rom and it is working...

case closed..
