#1 Post by Bookworm » Thu Oct 16, 2008 11:05 pm

I heard Windows 2000 has a Windows 98 compatability mode. How do I get to it?

Apparently Win2k has a hidden Win95 or NT compatibility mode.

Is there some secret trick to make this work, or is it just another sick joke like everything else microsoft has ever done? :flame:

I have tried several programs that work in '98 but not 2k, and the compatability mode might as well not be there for all the good it does. I get the same error messages with it as without.

Could be a sick joke, yes. Spring for a few bucks for a modern scanner.
