Backup with new Rescue & Recovery kills WiFi connection

Running XP Pro SP2 on an R51 and Intel 2200BG.

Just installed the new "Rescue & Recovery" and tried a backup to my main machine over the WiFi link. It consistently dropped the WiFi link after about 30 seconds of activity. Plugging the R51 into the switch and setting up a new hardwired link, it worked fine. The WiFi link has always worked for other uses and continues to do so.

Ever heard of such a thing?
