Help, I accidently erased the REG_SZ Data! Need help!

#1 Post by CrazyJeeper » Wed Jan 26, 2005 5:28 am

I accidently erased the data for the REG_SZ setting. If anybody would have this information handy i'd greatly appreciate it. REG_SZ appears, but next to it says, (value not set) for the Data column. If I can get the Data info along with the binary info i'd greatly greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Every key in the registry has a REG_SZ value - which one (on the many thousands in there) are you talking about?

Crap, i dont know because it's showing up in every folder I select. Is there any way I can run a recovery on the registry from yesterday? I guess one of the locations where I see the REG_SZ is in:
My Computer\HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Setting\Zones\0
