System Update Version: 3.14.0024 Still FUBAR?

When I try to run System Update--the latest version available as of tonight--it fails around 9% while trying to gather user data, so it says.

But supposedly this is the version that fixes this bug.

Is it just Vista-32 Ultimate w/SP2 that is the problem? Or is System Update still FUBAR?

Vista with SP2 is not supported yet, at least not officially. There's a un-official workaround if you are willing to try.
