#1 Post by AdaSch » Wed Jul 01, 2009 1:39 pm

Hi,

My nod32 (ekrn.exe) always usage 100% cpu after change network profile wifi to lan or back.

don't help change any options. Only turn off protection helps. If you don't want loose money don't buy them    .

I still don't have support from esset.

cheers

This has been discussed alot, since about 1-year ago, on Wilders Security Forums AFAIK.

It happened to me with an elder version of NOD32 V3, but with the latest V4 release, it's mostly gone, as far as I can tell.

IIRC, ESET said it's caused by the advanced heuristics scanning on large archives. But you better check out the threads over there for more accurate information.

Cheers.
