Windows ME won't accept OLEDB32A.DLL

#1 Post by Bookworm » Sun Jul 05, 2009 12:36 pm

Windows ME failed to install the file OLEDB32A.DLL from CD, so I downloaded it. Now I'm still getting the false error message "Failed to load resource DLL C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYSTEM\OLEDB\OLEDB32A.DLL". What is the real problem, and how do I fix it?

Nobody in their right mind ever used ME, and since WE are in our right mind (and thus never used ME), we don't know the answer. What's so difficult to understand?

Making it a rare collectors item like an Edsel or a Corvair or a working Timex Sinclair 1000.

I'd ask for proof, but I'm afraid I might get it.

How MicroSoft stayed in business after 1995.
