I have a T60p, XP machine that will not access the internet. On bootup I get a 'Generic Host Process' error for 'SVhost.exe'. On shutdown I get a 'RunDLL32.exe not responding' error.
The computer will boot and access the internet in safe mode. I do not doubt that it was infected at one time and may still be. I do not know if there is a registry program that will fix this, or if it needs to go in for a diagnosis and repair. Do have a corrupted file?
Any help would be appreciated.
