Access Connections v3.7 recalled?

Last night I found Access Connections 3.7 listed in the matrix for my R51 (1836H7U), downloaded it and found that it simply didn't work, failing catastrophically and producing those little error dialogs asking if I wanted to send a report to Microsoft. I found a copy of 3.53 and re-installed it and got back on the air.

Looking this morning, I find that v3.7 is still listed in the matrix, but if I select it, the page I'm taken to has v 3.53.

Shouldn't there at least be a note of some sort?

When I go to my specific support page, the 3.7 Version is still there. There is a disclaimer that 3.7 doesn't work with all wireless cards, and in that case download 3.53. And I think I recall that 3.53 was a language variation from 3.30. I know V3.7 is working on my T41 with IBM 11a/b/g (Atheros) card. I haven't tried it on anything else yet. ... JD Hurst

V 3.7 was supposed to work on my system (R51 + Intel 2200BG - 1836H7U), unless I've misread something.

Whether I'm presented with v 3.53 or v 3.7 depends on what path through IBM's web site I take. I'll try to record the steps I took to get to each one if I can keep it straight.

Well, I wasn't able to find my way into the driver matrix with the bogus link again, but I did get this to happen:

Select "Downloads and Driver",
Enter model number (1836h7u) in "Quick path" box
Offered v 3.53 of Access connections
