Rescue and Recovery questions

#1 Post by Milhouse » Tue Feb 22, 2005 1:04 pm

I have a new Thinkpad T42p. After having installed all needed software, I wanted to make a backup. So I did it and chose "save to local disc". But where is that file now? It does seem to be in the main C partition (because the used space has increased) but I can't find it. Isn't it supposed to be on the IBM service partition? If not, what is this partition for?

Thanks in advance for your answers :)

it's in a hidden folder called RRUbackups. You cannot access it.

OK I can accept that ;) but what are the 4.5 gigs used for on the service partition?
