Power management, XP SP2, A31p

I installed SP2 for XP pro on my A31p Thinkpad (finally) and have found that the power management isn't working quite properly. I have screen set to go blank after 20 minutes, and HD drives to stop aftr 30 minutes. These settings always worked fine. Now, after installing the service pack, the screen blanks out as before, but the hard drives never stop spinning. I have tried resetting different values, but nothing works. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm not but try reinstalling the IBM Power Management Drivers/ Features, and what ever else your TP needs related to it.
