Original T42 Software?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and I'm really enjoying it so far! I just purchased a 6 month old T42. The gentleman I purchased it from, was running linux, so he had to reinstall Windows XP Pro. My question is what other software came with the thinkpad from IBM, and is there any way of downloading these files from the internet. I'm a noob to thinkpads so any info or tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated, maybe some more helpful sites like this one if you know of any. Thanks everyone!

when the new installation was done via the bios recovery option which installs the system from an hidden partition, then everything is exactly the same as you would get it new from a store.

You can get almost everything from the IBM Website except of the DVD Player and the CD burning software (you can get just updates for that).
