Access Connections - Log File??

#1 Post by ibmuser » Wed Mar 16, 2005 12:12 am

Is there a log file associated with IBM Access Connections?

I keep getting a 'QCTRAY.EXE error' when the log on window appears.

I'm not aware of a log file but once I found two instances of QCTRAY.EXE running. Somehow a copy of it was being called from my local user \software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run branch in addition to the same path off HKEY_LocalMachine.

This was unstable.
Removing the extra key cleared that up.

I also uncheck the "Show Wireless Status" option in the options/preferences screen This gets rid of QCONSVC and saves about 15 MB RAM. Between the QCTRAY icon and the windows-standard wireless icon, that's enough for me.
