Bluetooth on the Thinkpad

I have a ThinkPad T42p with the built-in bluetooth module. For some reason, TWO bluetooth radios show up in my device manager. One is the 'IBM Integrated Bluetooth III' and the other is the 'Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator'.

I cannot seem to get rid of the Microsoft Bluetooth software and instead use the IBM (really WIDCOMM) software. I've tried installing the IBM Bluetooth software via the Thinkpad software installer, but no luck. It always ends up saying 'No Bluetooth Device Found'

I've even followed the instructions on this site but no dice. The IBM software just refuses to see the Bluetooth radio:

Anyone have any ideas on how I can stop the Windows Bluetooth control and instead use the IBM software?

If it helps, I'm running Windows XP with SP2.

Actually... please ignore this message. I figured it out.

The key is to install the IBM Integrated Bluetooth II software, reboot, then update the driver for IBM Integrated Bluetooth III in the device manager to the one from the C:\DRIVERS folder. Another reboot, and the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator is gone!
