I will definitely need hardware flash after I [censored] it up. I will be flashing internally, but I will most likely brick it with a bad coreboot build soon enough.harryK wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 7:13 amIf the x2100 is anything like the x210 you don't need to hardware flash. Coreboot can be flashed via software withCode: Select all
flashrom -p internal -w coreboot.rom

Pre-disabled ME X2100 Bios
Re: Pre-disabled ME X2100 Bios
Re: Pre-disabled ME X2100 Bios
Can someone with a working Intel ME (meaning BIOS->Advanced->PCH-FW Configuration does not show ME Firmware Version 0.0.0.0) send me a full dump of their X2100 Bios?
Preferably done via hardware flasher, so we can be sure the ME Region is fully dumped.
I'd like to take a look at it.
Thanks alot

I do not have fully working ME, but the complete BIOS is available, you don't need a dump.lemoniter wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 3:32 pmCan someone with a working Intel ME (meaning BIOS->Advanced->PCH-FW Configuration does not show ME Firmware Version 0.0.0.0) send me a full dump of their X2100 Bios?

Re: Pre-disabled ME X2100 Bios
ME is finicky, I believe I need the initialized configuration data from the ME Partition of the BIOS to reset the ME, and I'm not sure that is contained in the published BIOS.exander wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:19 pmI do not have fully working ME, but the complete BIOS is available, you don't need a dump.lemoniter wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 3:32 pmCan someone with a working Intel ME (meaning BIOS->Advanced->PCH-FW Configuration does not show ME Firmware Version 0.0.0.0) send me a full dump of their X2100 Bios?

Re: Pre-disabled ME X2100 Bios
Why do you need it?
Btw, I see some differences 0x00004216bb and forward, so there is something initialized there.
