Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
There is SOMETHING IN THAT LINK THAT CAUSED MY DISPLAY DRIVER TO GO HAYWIRE and a probable malware attack was attempted.
Mods, please look into it and take it down if necessary.

Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
Other that the atrocious late 90s webdesign with music (which I thought was a joke), I didn't see any issues.
Could you post some more issues on the "probable malware attack". Which tool reported it and what was the name/details?
In the meanwhile I will make the link unclickable, to be safe.

Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
I never see any such issues in Linux using the Brave Browser and additional uMatrix enabled on top...(remove space after / to traverse the link; warning: at least one user reported issues/malware with the website)
As can be seen in the html source code of the website, there is some flash stuff embedded.
Since flash has generally been deprecated for security resons, maybe this is what triggers an alarm for the user?

I'll look at it again. Am image that looked like an attempted ransom attack showed up. I'll try to get a screen cap.

Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
Hey, that's my website, just made an account to post here. No, my site doesnt have malware, it does have ruffle-rs and a flash applet of an anime girl that talks when you click her face, and a few fake ads though (you should click them). Yes the design is a joke, I made it in Microsoft™ Frontpage™ 2003.
Thanks for talking about my project, it's pretty neat to see it show up places.

Thanks for registering and welcome. The current mass of evidence suggest that the site is safe, so link is restored. Keep on making cool Thinkpad-related projects.

Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
lol I made something a lot like that. I only ever posted it on 4chan's /g/ board though. It's made from a t410s that I was going to scrap but I made...this instead.

the lighting is very bad but you can kind of see the barbie look I was going for.

Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
I like that you painted the keyboard, touchpad, and speaker meshes as well, it really completes the look. Most other painters like the Colorwares leave those components black which is ugly IMO.Sunshine701c wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 6:07 amlol I made something a lot like that. Re: How a bout a Pinkpad?
it's basically the exact same but ive removed the reset generator at the cost of not having a caps lock light. also, I added a bunch of key combos in my version of the firmware. you can use either, it doesn't matter.exander wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 7:52 pmThank you!
