P14s Gen 5 Intel display question

I was going to buy a P14s Gen 5 on the second hand market but then saw it had the multitouch 2.5K screen. Are there any downsides to the multitouch, especially for photo editing, or is it just the same screen but with touch functionality?
T60 2007-7JU (15" Flexview, has a T60p mobo for the v5200, 4gb ram, changed HDD w/7200rpm 100gb, T7400 2.16ghz Core 2 Duo)
