Any thoughts on the new P72, finally available to order as of 10/26?
Longtime TP user, happily banging away at a nicely equipped W530 now, but every 5-7yrs or so I upgrade my platform.

Re: P72 finally available
Hmm, I suppose the P72 is an expensive niche and low-volume machine.
I'll keep my eyes out for reviews or hands-on reports.

The 17" P72 must be *heavy* !!
I tried lifting up the 15" P52 today, and it was heavy enough for me.
Anyways, here are some recent P72 reviews:

Compared to a W700 it's pretty light.
Thinkpad4by3's Law of the Universe.
The efficiency of two screens equally sized with equal numbers if pixels are equal. The time spent by a 4:3 user complaining about 16:9 is proportional to the inefficiency working with a 16:9 display, therefore the amount of useful work extracted is equal.
