Modifying 40Y7625 External Charger to support P5x batteries?

I vaguely remember reading a thread here about modifying the connector on a 40Y7625 physically so it could connect to 77+ batteries (and similar). I recently picked up a 2nd 40Y7625 for cheap, and wouldn't mind modifying it to keep my mountain of P52 batteries charged when I'm not using the machine on battery a ton. I can't find the thread anymore, but if anyone has done this, could you remind me of the process? I don't have a 77+ on hand right now, but if I remember right theres some plastic tabs on the 40Y7625's connector that interfere with the battery casing that can be trimmed off with sidecutters.

This isn't it, but its a good idea for sure. I might go down this route with some 3d printer connector housings and self-made cable extensions if I can't figure out how to just modify the charger.
