P14s Gen5 AMD: ticking while suspended

Hi everyone! Got a new laptop last month, the very new Lenovo P14s Gen5 AMD without an OS. Installed Fedora 40. Not sure if the OS is relevant, since I get an issue when putting the laptop to sleep (actually to s2idle, as /sys/power/mem_sleep shows).
I noticed once in the sleep mode, it starts emitting a ticking sound, slightly faster than once a second (78 per minute). And it continues through the night. Some high-freq hum accompanies each tick, same hum as when it's turned on. The ticking does not stop when I disconnect the power cord. But obviously stops when I shut down the system.
Absolutely no idea what may cause this. What is even moving inside — the cooler, probably, nothing else. The source of the sound is on the right side, same as cooler vents.
In addition, the laptop does not cool off when in stand-by. My other laptop gets colder in minutes, but this new one, still warm in the morning, after a whole night sleep.
I have found a few threads on the internet related to clicking of Lenovo laptops, from 2017 onwards, but none had any reasons or resolutions.
Do you have an idea where to look, or how to stop the clicking? I feel like the sleep mode won't be effective at saving battery when I disconnect the power cord.
