Re: T14 Ryzen 7 4750U Pro performance
I have the X13 Thinkpad (same as the T14s with a 13" screen) with that CPU (16GB RAM/512 SSD/ FHD), and the thing is a beast. Far more powerful than any thinkpad I ever owned, everything on W10 or Fedora runs flawlessly. Graphics depends on the use of course, but if you are considering it for light gaming it will handle it with ease (I finished D:OS 2 on Linux via emulation on 1920x1080 without a hitch).
The only thing, if you are considering Linux, is that unless you go to a bleeding edge distro some things are not supported very well (power management for one), but in terms of performance it truly is an impressive little thing.

Re: T14 Ryzen 7 4750U Pro performance
Actually, being on Debian testing (which atm uses the 5.10.0-8 kernel), all the power management issues are very well taken care of. There is no problems with sleep/hibernate and similar states. Bios updates can easily be done from Linux with fwupd, so that also poses no problems. AFAIK some people have complained there too high of a power draw when the machine is in the sleep state, but that's disputable and I don't confirm it.
Overall, I'm not into gaming but apart from that the performance is perfect.
