A475 Battery?

#1 Post by Bruce Guttman » Fri May 27, 2022 5:22 pm

I bought a new battery for my A475 and the computer refuses to recognize it or charge it (it even gave me an error message to that effect). Is there a battery whitelist for this model? Does it exclude larger capacity batteries? If there is a whitelist, can I get around it?

It's more likely that the battery you got is dead/defective. Ask for a refund or replacement.
Planned Purchase: T480s i5-8350 FHD Touch
Impulse Buy: Thinkpad not named for safety reasons
