ThinkPad T42 with ubuntu 12.04 cannot use webcam

Hello,

I have tried to use a webcam (actually two, a Creative NX Ultra and a Logitec Quickcam E2500) on TP T42, with ubuntu 12.04 using cheese, and I have no answer, just the black window (of cheese). The cams do work on other PCs.

Is there any known issue?
