Here is the configuration:
Debian 6.0.6
Kernel: Linux nardev 3.2.0-0.bpo.3-amd64
NVIDIA Driver Version: 295.59
Monitor #1: acer 22" 1680x1050
Monitor #2: acer 19" 1440x900
Goal is to make them work in TwinView one next to another.
Monitor #1 is connected to regular VGA port and i can set it normaly via nvidia-settings
Monitor #2 is connected via mini displayport, through some cheep "mini displayport to VGA" that i got from ebay.
Unfortunately, i can't make this second one work properly.
in nvidia-settings it doesn't offer me proper resolution. Maximum that is offered is 640x480 although, as i just connected it today, it also offered me some non standard, higher resolutions for this display.
I tried to edit xorg.conf manually, but it seems that i ether didn't know how or it couldn't work like that.
Any help is appreciated.
