Microsoft Livecam VX3000 in PCLinux 2013 Drive Issue

I have a Microsoft Livecam VX 3000 that works fine in 13.04 Voyager "French Version" using cheese & in Mint using cheese....would like to possibly switch to PCLinux 2013 .....just would like to try a different Operating System....still a noob & google to find out my info.The driver shows # 61 in the vanilla tree...would appreciate any input&I forgot to mention using a IBM T43 1871 model with Intel graphics card.
