Will Ubuntu run on ThinkPad 10, a Bay Trail-T tablet?

I would like to be able to run Ubuntu on ThinkPad 10, which is a tablet with a Bay Trail-T Intel Atom chip.

Will Ubuntu work on this computer?
ThinkPad X200s (7470-A22) 12.1 1440x900 | CD 1.86 LV | 8 GB | 120GB Intel 520 SSD | BT+abg | Ubuntu 13.10
sold: ThinkPad X200 (7459W4T) 12.1 1280x800 | CD 2.26 MV, IBM X60s (1702-64M) 12.1 1024x768 | CD 1.66LV

Better ask on Ubuntu forums, but I'm almost certain it will.

Spec-wise it should run without any issues, modern Linux has a habit of recognising most hardware out of the box but the best way to find out is to give it a go. I'm not too much into the touch screen way of life but I have heard the KDE offers a better touch experience than Gnome/Unity so you may want to try Kubuntu (basically Ubuntu with the KDE desktop instead of Gnome/Unity).

I know Cononical are working on a mobile phone operating system at the moment, this will no doubt be ported to x86/x64 after it's released and would give a seamless touchscreen only experience.
Daily use: X220, T410
Collection: 4xT20, T23, T60 (Pinkpad for my daughters), X22 (password locked), X24, 2xR40e, A20m, 600e, 701c
