E325 UEFI or Legacy No OS Found!

#1 Post by fleamourian » Tue Mar 31, 2015 4:07 pm

I have tried an install of openSUSE 13.2 & elementary OS Freya (GPT partition scheme) both fail to boot with no OS found. I could turn on legacy boot as a last resort with MBR partition table. Anyone know of some timely advice?

The solution with eOS is to use Boot Repair. With openSUSE, leave secure boot box checked under bootloader options, then proceed to install. The boot loader will fail to install. Only then, uncheck secure boot & try again, voila!
