Thinpad X220 - any success with Antergos?

#1 Post by humdinger70 » Thu Aug 20, 2015 4:07 pm

I wanted to try an Arch based distribution that was easy to install, heard good things about Antergos.

Please give your experiences with it, if you have (or had) it.

I don't have a X220 but a X230, antergos works beautifuly.
Only the trackpoint doesn't work outside the box, I used the tutorial from here:

i have x230 with arch and x220 with arch ... few bits to fix it (trackpad, trackpoint, wifi , wwan and few more bits ), but rest of it - perfect . p.s check thinkwiki and arch wiki for thinkpad`s :) p.s as a arch user i would advice to use arch linux instead of arch based. arch linux is easy to install to thinkpad and then you can read whole wiki if you have issues by the way ... arch linux irc channels are friendly and helpfull :)
