For you 1 simple tip - Use concise plain text when posting in linux/BSD forums or mailing lists or you probably won't get much help.

PS Dual boot is old hat, max the RAM and cut a VM image of windows and run that under Linux as Windows is notorious for trashing boot loaders.

again fully agree, with only 8gb ram you can already perfectly run whatever windows in a virtual machine if needed
