Fingerprint reader on T61 and Fedora 35 not working

#1 Post by devinfriday » Thu Nov 18, 2021 5:37 am

Hi, i have a T61 with Fedora 35 and fingerprint reader. While fprint-enroll seems to register the print, nor sudo, nor on login the print works.
The only errors are in journalctl:
nov 18 11:26:07 fedora fprintd[3496]: Failed to open /sys/bus/usb/devices/3-2/power/persist
nov 18 11:26:07 fedora systemd[1]: Started Fingerprint Authentication Daemon.
nov 18 11:26:08 fedora fprintd[3496]: Device reported an error during verify: Response had wrong subcommand type
nov 18 11:26:16 fedora fprintd[3496]: Device reported an error during verify: Response had wrong subcommand type
nov 18 11:26:47 fedora systemd[1]: fprintd.service: Deactivated successfully.
Do i have to config something in BIOS?
TIA.
Gabs.
