Fedora Core 4 install -- Linksys wireless card doesn't work

#1 Post by BioTeacher » Wed Jul 27, 2005 9:36 pm

I have a Linksys Wireless B Model WPC11 v. 4

This is not apparently supported by FD4. Can anyone shed light on what I need to get this going?

Thanks.

You might have better luck at Fedora Forum--this really isn't thinkpad-specific.

A quick google search turned up this link:

I can confirm that the card in question works under Ubuntu using a Windows driver and NDIS Wrapper. It should also work on Fedora.

The WPC11 v3 works out of the box with Fedora. The v4 card uses another chip, and requires NDIS wrapper or some other tool.
