IBM Thinkpad Hard Drive Active Protection System HDAPS drive

Has anyone tried this yet? This is a Sourceforge project that's fairly new. They have an experimental version of the driver ready for downloading and testing.

Nobody has tried it ? I'll take a look at it.

Is it the only solution for hd active protection ?

Plenty of people have tried it.

A quick search through the forum would've shown up hits.

Not to mention it's documented quite nicely on www.thinkwiki.org
