Ubuntu/Atheros users REJOICE!!! (kinda)

#1 Post by benplaut » Sat Aug 27, 2005 9:50 pm

well, i started using Ubuntu Breezy (still in testing, but remarkably stable), and... they almost fixed wireless

Scanning works, but, MadWifi still can't scan and be connected at the same time :( , this means that GTKwifi fails, network-admin works, and... WiFi-Radar...

You've been waiting for it...

WORKS :D

Anyway, Breezy is way better than hoary, from what i can see ATM...it's also a helluvalot faster

If anyone wants me to test something, this install was meant for breaking... ask away :)

Have they fixed Fn+F5 so it can control both WiFi and Bluetooth?

I've never been able to get LIVES (Linux Video Editing) working on Ubuntu - feeling brave?
