T42 and Debian, newbie instructions

#1 Post by wedge » Thu Sep 08, 2005 3:15 am

Hey everyone,

Finally got Debian (3.1) installed on my machine. Some stuff is working and some is not, ethernet is working ok and I can surf the web.

But for example wireless is not working, I'm really a newbie in linux and would appreciate some instructions where to start. I could have put this question to other linux forums, but they are so many that I don't really know where to start.. And these forums have always been so helpfull so I thought I'll post this here too.

Wireless is not the biggest problem, but I would appreciate some directions where to start my linux learning, even if it's just a forum..

Thanks heaps,
Juha
