Mandrake DeskTop Edition, Version 7.2

Does anybody know if there is a Laptop versi0on of this OS???
I have the Desktop Version???

It is always giving me problems.....more than windows! But I like it better.

Linux distributions that are indicated for desktop use are also intended for laptops; they label it 'desktop' to differentiate it from versions intended for servers.

Mandrake 7.2 is very old by modern Linux distribution standards. I wouldn't expect it to work well on any newer laptop. You should download the latest version, or if you don't have broadband and a CD burner, you can get free Ubuntu Linux CDs shipped to you. Ubuntu is somewhat different than Mandrake, but similar enough that you shouldn't have any trouble.
