Suse or OpenSuse? Or neither?

#1 Post by netguardianii » Wed Oct 12, 2005 9:26 pm

I can't decide between OpenSuse and Suse 10.0. Any suggestions? Or perhaps they're the nearly identical (T43-wise) and there is not choice after all?

Aren't they two different names for the same thing?

Not exactly. The difference between SuSE and OpenSuSE are at first the 90-day Support if you buy SuSE and second the commercial Packages, i.e. Homebanking application and else.

That would be the two biggest parts I know about that they differ. For more Information you should look on the SuSE-Website.
