Ubuntu and T23

#1 Post by Temetka » Thu Oct 27, 2005 4:54 pm

Anyone got a walkthrough for installing th x86 build on a T23?

They shipped my a CD but for some reason it refuses to boot off it. Which I find weird because my XP cd boots just fine.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, search the Ubuntu Forums. If you still have trouble, post a question on the Ubuntu Forum. That just seems like a much better idea than posting here because you will have a much better chance of someone responding that knows the answer.

I added the no apm switch and got it going.

Now I need to get some linux drivers for my Asante AeroLAN-XG wireless card, then my install will be good to go. Since Asante makes finding drivers a real b*tch, it's going to take a while.

Other than that, and no sound for some strange reason, it's working great.
