T23 came with an S3 SuperSavage, I think, but I think baraider now has a T4x model that isn't listed in his signature, and that DOES have an ATI 9600. I think this issue has been discussed at ubuntuforums.org, but I don't remember the answer.

Are you using the proprietary fglrx driver from ATI? fglrxconfig utility should be able to create a configuration file, in which the primary and secondary displays are set. You may have to select the desired output from the mplayer or any other media player.

Those of you who know better, please correct.

This question is for my desktop and laptop both have ATI radeon 9600. I have more than what shows as my signature

last night i checked ati website and they have the new driver dated 12/8

version 2.8.20 or something like that...

Installed fine but i'm not sure i follow the direction correctly when select many of the settings..

Have ATI control shown up on my Applications but still can't get video out :D
