Hi, I have a Thinkpad T23 attached to a Thinkpad Dock and I decided to try several Linux live CDs to see what it would recognize from my system. I tried Suse 10.0, Ubuntu 5.10, Mepis (can't remember which, but this was all last week, so its the latest), and Linspire. All of them recognized everything of my machine, quite happy with all on that. Now comes the funny part: all of them except Suse (that surprised me)recognized a PCMCIA I have on the Dock for USB 2.0, and all the devices on that worked. But none of them recognized the UBS 1.0 of the Dock itself...
I'm a linuz newbie, but after what I've seen I think I feel like making the jump and let windows behind (or just keep it in a partition for emergencies). But I really would like to have those two USB plugs of the dock working...
Any suggestions?
Linux and the Thinkpad Dock...
