power usage with kthinkbat

is anyone monitoring power consumtion with kthinkbat? The lowest wattage I can get out of my x32 1.8 with cpufreq set to 600 mhz and 700 mv, and the brightness at the lwest setting, is around 10w. Is anyone doing better than this?

Well, if no one's been using kthinkbat, is there anyone who has tried gaim-thinklight? I've heard many reports of it working with debian, but I've had no luck with FC4. The plugin freezes upon selection of the "check" box.

Well, that's pretty good, but I think you'll get even better results if you undervolt your cpu.

In windows, using NHC, I get aprox. 20minutes extra on batt, and a cooler laptop.

Way ahead of you... that's undervolted to .7 V at 599mHz
On that subject, I haven't been able to get that undervolt patch working since 2.6.14... I just don't get the /sys.../cpufreq files.
