Starting to get very ticked off at Novell

Sorry I should say SuSE. I like a lot of the things about this distro. It was very easy to install, allowed for individual package selection, allowed me to install not only KDE and Gnome, but IceVWM as well. Cool.
Here's my problem. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to release or renew a DHCP lease from the command line. In Fedora I can type in /usr/sbin/dhclient and go from there. I have searched high and low for an RPM or something to install that will give me the same functionality. I hate having to use the kinternet tool to select a network and go from there. With OS X, WIndows, hell even Amiga, I can just have it broadcast a DHCP request and move on. Not so with with this SuSE distro.
So please, if you can, help me find a version of the dhclient that will work with SuSE 10, or (I hate to reload) another distro that uses standard RPM's (no .deb), allows me to install more than just KDE or Gnome (at the same time). I like Unbuntu, but it only comes with Gnome or KDE (kunbuntu). Also I need it to work with XP that I have installed on another partition.
