Projector Presentation with Linux Fedora Core 5 on T43

#1 Post by RegisSH » Tue May 09, 2006 10:42 pm

I use Linux Fedora Core 5 with my T43 and trying to configure it so that I can show a presentation on a projector. My normal resolution is 1400*1050 and projector takes only 1024*768. However, even if I change the display resolution to 1024*768, I cannot switch to the projector output.
Ideally I'd like to use the F7 key but it doesnt work.
What do I need to configure to get it to work?

The keyword is "MergedFB", try googling for "T43 radeon mergedfb" and you will find lots of information about that topic. This xorg.conf option controls the vga output...

To enable the hotkeys you need to enable the BiosHotkeys option in your xorg.conf
