Hi everyone,
Has anyone had any luck trying to get ACPI to work on a ThinkPad X21? I have Kubuntu 6.06 LTS on mine, and the thing just won't go to sleep, and I don't like using APM as a solution.
Thanks!
Chris

ACPI on X21
X61 - 3GB, 80GB SSD
I got it running on mine. Nothing special to do just right click on the battery icon on the taskbar and select configure klaptop.
On the last tab-ACPI config- I think you can select standby, suspend, hibernate etc. If those are not enabled, then click on "setup helper application".
I got it to sleep but I havent figured out how to wake it up yet
.
In SimplyMepis on my old 600e, just closing and opening the lid did the magic but that aint working here.
